How their raised

Here at Willow Tree Berners we take great pride in how our puppies are raised. They are born in my office, where they spend their first 4 weeks of life. I work from home so being in my office they are with me all day, so I can keep a close eye on them. Within a few days of birth they are started with early stimulation and as they grow they are introduced to as many different scents, people, pets(from our home due to transmitting illness from outside our home), textures, noises and so on.

I am sorry to say, but we do not accept visitors until the puppies have had their first set of vaccinations. Safety is our biggest concern and they are extremely susceptible to many things that can be brought in on shoes. Also the safety of our family is extremely important, and with home invasions of breeders and puppy theft on the rise we just cannot risk it, but we are more then happy to facetime, send pictures, or whatever else would put your mind at ease. We also do at minimum weekly photo and video updates for each litter.

They are raised with our 3 rambunctious children, other berners, our cavalier king charles spaniel as well as our 2 cats. Puppies are started on puppy curriculum from early on and then started on crate and house training as they get a bit older. These puppies spend all of their early weeks being loved, and shown as much as possible to help ensure they are great pets. We believe doing this helps them grow into confident, social, well rounded pets.

We also worm them multiple times starting at 2 weeks, have UTD vaccinations, microchipped, a 1 year genetic guarantee, as well as 30 days free no obligation pet insurance. We believe with the rising costs of vet care, that pet insurance is a very affordable way to keep your new addition safe. We also microchip the puppies before they go to their new homes, we pay for chip registration, as well as lifetime registration of that microchip. We do stay on the microchip for the lifetime of the dog to make sure any dogs we produce are safe at all times, but you as the new owner are also listed on this microchip, as first contact incase they were to be lost.

All of our puppies go home with goodie bags full of toys, treats, food samples, their pet insurance(Trupanion), microchip info(we use fi nano), and all of their health records from birth until they go home. We try to make the transition from our home to yours as smooth as possible.
