About Us

Willow Tree Berners started with our love of Bernese Mountain dogs. When we got our first we had really struggled to find home raised puppies, that were not raised in kennels and that were accustomed to normal household noises. After over 2 years of searching we finally found our first, and absolutely fell in love with them. We only offer 1 possibly 2 litters year, with all of our dogs living in our home and being out pets first, we put their health and well being as a top priority.

All of our dogs and puppies live and are raised in our home. They are accustomed to living with our 3 rambunctious kids, other berners, and 3 cats. They are used to everyday household noises and have all been extremely well socialized. Puppies are born and spend their first 4 weeks in my office (I work from home so I can keep a close eye on them in those first few weeks), before moving to a larger area in our den. We start crate training and house training before puppies go to their new homes. We also do ENS training on our babies starting their first week of life, it really helps make an extremely well-rounded dog.
